Chairman's Message

Personalized Care for Personal Growth

On behalf of the Royal Care Super Speciality Hospital, I welcome you all for the 4th “RCH ICU UPDATE

The theme for this year CME will be
“NEURO CRITICAL CARE”.

We stand at a pivotal moment in our field, where the boundaries between technology, artificial intelligence, and patient care are merging to produce unprecedented patient outcomes. The goal of this update is to address the basics and dive deep into the innovations transforming our ICUs. We will explore the latest in neuro protective strategies that are reshaping clinical outcomes.

I encourage you to embrace the collaborative spirit of this meeting. Challenge the status quo, engage with our expert faculty, and take home these evidence based updates to your institutions. Together, we are not just managing critically ill neurological patients; we are defining the future of neural recovery.

I am sure that this CME will provide clarity, knowledge and skills to enhance the outcome of neuro critical care patients among the clinicians across the specialities.

I wish the organizing committee all the very best in making this year ICU UPDATE a grand success.

Organising Secretary’s Message

Personalized Care for Personal Growth

Greetings from the organizing committee. On behalf of the Institute of critical care Medicine at Royal Care Super Speciality Hospital,

it gives me immense pleasure in inviting you for the “4th RCH ICU UPDATE”.

Theme based CMEs conducted by our team over the last two decades had an overwhelming attendance and resounding appreciation from critical care practitioners and trainees from different specialities. We are passionate about sharing knowledge and skills across the region to enhance continuum of care in critically ill patients.

This year’s agenda is designed to highlight multidisciplinary synergy, bridging the gap between cutting-edge research and clinical practice. We are focused on practical, actionable knowledge—that reduces secondary brain injury and elevates the standard of care for our most vulnerable patients

The scientific programme includes two workshops. Two days of Comprehensive Neuro Critical Care Course (CN3C) for medical doctors and one day Comprehensive Neuro Nursing Critical Care Course (CN2C) for nursing professionals. Both the workshops will provide hands on approach in dealing with Neuro critically ill patients. The CME will host an array of didactic lectures, panel discussions, how I approach session, interesting clinical scenario discussions and interactive question answer sessions. These interesting three days will cater to the needs of practising intensivist, anaesthetist, Emergency physician, neurologist, neurosurgeon, post graduate trainees and paramedical team.

The venue at Le Meridien will provide an apt atmosphere for an academic feast

Looking forward to seeing you at the stellar CME event

Dr. M. N. Sivakumar
